Psychedelic Art Series: Still images

Here is a short list of my recent favorite psychedelic still images.

When I say psychedelic, I mean that they play with the edges of how we understand reality and still images that are either photographic, digital, painted, or a combination of them all.

A blend of photographic images that also lends itself to a beautiful optical illusion. Do you see the image within the image?

Skilfull line art merging very disparate objects create a feast for the eyes.

This mix of comic illustrations and psychedelic imagery is a feast for the eyes. Noticing something new every time we look closer. Potentially inspired by and emulating MC Escher.

A digital image depicting the doors to another realm. Expressing the magic that language fails to convey during a psychedelic moment.

A whimsical digital image that prompts us to dream, imagine and play. What if rainbows really looked like this? Do we look up at the sky often enough to notice if it did?

Do you have a favorite psychedelic artist you want to tell us about, tell me all about it in the comments below.

As always,

Flow strong.
