Hey! Well. I finished my first strip 1 week ago. I bought the starter pack, so I got two and I decided to continue on with the second strip right after. I will be taking at least a week off when I am done with this in 2 weeks ^^Its quite neat already and I do feel a boost in my mood, but I feel a big difference when I talk to people, it feels amazing! Also, its easier for me to switch from task to task and stay focused for a longer time, which is good when you have adhd :p Happy thoughts!

Dit is mijn eerste poging met een grow kit (na 3 intensieve maanden lion's mane, truffel, niacine) en dat toonde zich ook in een paar beginnersfoutjes. De eerste flush was vrij klein en ik had ook meer groei aan de zijkanten van de kit dan bovenop, maar ik denk dat dat kwestie is van ervaring en trial & error. maar: De kit doet zeker z'n werk! Handig in gebruik en een degelijke handleiding. Ook het weegschaaltje is helemaal prima. De warmtemat heb ik nog niet nodig gehad.
Ik ben nu in blijde verwachting van mijn tweede flush uit deze kit, heel benieuwd!

Do I need to microdose forever?
No, microdosing is not meant to be done forever. It's typically used for specific periods to achieve certain goals, like boosting focus, creativity, or well-being. However, taking extended breaks after completing a cycle of microdosing is absolutely necessary.
While microdosing schedules often involve small breaks between doses (like a few days on, followed by a few days off), it's important to take longer breaks after finishing a full cycle. This allows your body and mind to fully reset and prevents tolerance buildup.
Many people take several weeks or months off before starting a new cycle, depending on their personal goals and how they feel. These big breaks are crucial for maintaining balance and ensuring the long-term effectiveness of microdosing.

How does the Beginner Protocol work?
The method is simple and easy to follow: One day on, two days off.
Take a microdose on Day 1, and take a break on Day 2 and Day 3. Then, on Day 4, repeat the process and take a microdose again.
So, in short:
- Day 1: Take a microdose.
- Day 2: Do not take a microdose.
- Day 3: Do not take a microdose.
- Day 4: Repeat → Start on Day 1 again.
Do this for a few weeks and notice how you react. How does it affect your creativity, your productivity, and your mood?
It is common to experience some slight after-effects on the day after taking a microdose (Day 2). On Day 3, you will be back in your normal state. Try to feel the differences between each day, and be sure to take notes.
A good way to measure effects is to track your experiences in a journal or our Sweetspot app. This way you can get more accurate and meaningful insights into your progress over a prolonged period of time.

How does the Advanced Protocol work?
The Advanced Protocol goes as follows: Four days on, three days off.
Take a microdose on Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, and Day 4 and take a break on Day 5, Day 6, and Day 7. Then, on Day 8, repeat the process and take a microdose again.
So, in short:
- Day 1: Take a microdose.
- Day 2: Take a microdose.
- Day 3: Take a microdose.
- Day 4: Take a microdose.
- Day 5: Do not take a microdose.
- Day 6: Do not take a microdose.
- Day 7: Do not take a microdose.

How should I take the microdose?
If you are new to microdosing, it's best to start with a small amount—specifically, a quarter of a truffle, which is about 0.25 grams.
Gradually increase your dose by no more than 0.2 grams at a time until you find the amount that works best for you, known as your Sweet Spot. It's important not to exceed this incremental increase and to avoid taking more than one dose in a single day.
To ensure accuracy, always use a scale to weigh your dosage. You can use our Micro Scale for this.
For beginners, we recommend swallowing your truffle dose rather than chewing it. Swallowing allows the active compounds to be released slowly throughout the day, providing a more gradual and manageable experience.
Chewing the truffle, on the other hand, will speed up the release of psilocybin, which can lead to a quicker onset of effects. Additionally, the taste of truffles can be quite strong and might not be pleasant for everyone.
If you prefer, you can also incorporate your truffle dose into a tea or blend it into a fruit or vegetable smoothie. Be mindful that consuming psilocybin on an empty stomach can sometimes lead to more intense effects, similar to how caffeine might affect you when taken without food.
